Recognising a smaller destination delivering exceptional sustainable tourism outcomes while protecting its environmental and cultural assets and strengthening local resilience. This award is designed to ensure that smaller destinations can be recognised fairly in relation to their size, resources and operating environment. Judges will consider community participation, environmental stewardship, visitor management, cultural preservation and the lasting benefits created through tourism.
